AXIA BY QCELLS VS. SUNRUN: COMPARE THE WRITTEN OFFERS: review your bill

AXIA BY QCELLS VS. SUNRUN: COMPARE THE WRITTEN OFFERS
Compare Axia by Qcells and Sunrun using the same roof, usage, battery goals and payment assumptions. All Star Solar represents the Axia sales pathway; this guide explains what to check rather than declaring a universal winner.
Start with the service address, current rate plan and twelve months of electricity use when available.
Review the proposed equipment, estimated production and written manufacturer information.
Connect battery capacity to evening use, rate management and clearly defined backup priorities.
COMPARE THE COMPLETE PROPOSAL
A fair comparison needs panel model and quantity, inverter, battery model and quantity, estimated annual production, backup loads and all roof or electrical work. A lower starting payment may accompany a different system. Ask both teams to model the same future EV or heating loads and the same reserve setting. Compare the remaining utility bill as well as the provider’s payment.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
Item: Equipment; Axia / EnFin pathway: Qcells-focused proposal; confirm exact models; Sunrun pathway: Confirm panel and battery models in the offer. Item: Payments; Axia / EnFin pathway: Available EnFin purchase, lease or PPA program, subject to approval; Sunrun pathway: Published subscription and ownership options; offer terms control. Item: Service; Axia / EnFin pathway: Identify installer, product warranty and agreement service provider; Sunrun pathway: Sunrun publishes subscription service coverage; confirm exclusions and term. Item: Transfer; Axia / EnFin pathway: Read the specific assignment and purchase provisions; Sunrun pathway: Read the specific assignment and purchase provisions. Item: Price; Axia / EnFin pathway: Property-specific written proposal; Sunrun pathway: Property-specific written proposal.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
Sunrun publishes 25-year maintenance and repair coverage for qualifying plans. That statement is not a substitute for reading the agreement’s scope, exclusions and roof provisions. EnFin and the Axia project documents likewise need to identify the actual obligations and remedies. Separate product warranty duration from installation workmanship, roof penetration and provider service. Ask who pays for diagnosis, labor, shipping and equipment removal when a claim arises.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
Put the first-year payment, annual escalator, any upfront payment and term into one worksheet. A lease payment and a levelized PPA payment can both look fixed within a year while having different underlying obligations. Check purchase options, minimum ownership periods, transfer qualifications and end-of-term choices. A prepaid agreement does not necessarily transfer equipment ownership. Do not count an unconfirmed tax credit in either proposal.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
Someone planning a near-term move may weigh transfer terms more heavily. A homeowner with critical backup loads may prioritize the battery design. Another may prefer equipment ownership and compare cash and loan prices. Ask each provider to answer the same unresolved questions in writing. Keep every comparison tied to the documents actually offered at your service address.
VERIFY CURRENT PRODUCT INFORMATION
Product names, specifications, availability and warranty terms can change. Confirm the exact proposed model and controlling documents before making a decision.
