QCELLS SOLAR CALIFORNIA: review your bill
Start with the service address, current rate plan and twelve months of electricity use when available.

QCELLS SOLAR CALIFORNIA
Qcells solar panels and Q.HOME CORE batteries can be designed around your California roof, electricity use and backup priorities. All Star Solar is an independent authorized Axia by Qcells sales partner. Compare the exact proposed equipment, manufacturer warranties and available payment options, including $0-down EnFin leases or PPAs for qualifying homeowners. Your written proposal identifies the models, price and installation contractor.
Start with the service address, current rate plan and twelve months of electricity use when available.
Review the proposed equipment, estimated production and written manufacturer information.
Connect battery capacity to evening use, rate management and clearly defined backup priorities.
COMPARE THE COMPLETE PROPOSAL
Qcells is part of Hanwha Group, an international enterprise with approximately $200 billion in consolidated assets. All Star Solar is an independent authorized sales partner of Axia by Qcells. The licensed installer and contractual provider are identified in your final agreement.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
Qcells offers several residential module families. Q.TRON uses Qcells Q.ANTUM NEO technology. Its published BLK M-G2+ family reaches up to 440 W and 22.5% efficiency; the rating on your proposed model is the relevant figure. Other Q.TRON variants can differ. Efficiency is useful where roof area is constrained. For a larger unshaded roof, installed system output, layout and complete price can matter more than a small difference in panel efficiency. A proposal should identify the model, quantity, system DC capacity and annual production estimate.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
Do not apply a G3 specification to every Q.HOME CORE battery. Qcells lists the G3 as an AC-coupled system with 13.1 kWh storage per unit, expansion to 26.2 kWh with the appropriate hub, and 7.6 kW continuous output per unit. The standard CORE family has its own capacity, coupling and warranty documents. Ask the project team to name the battery, inverter and hub, and state what is included. A storage capacity figure alone does not establish whole-home backup.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
These references describe the named product families, not every Qcells product. Compare the exact model in your proposal with the current manufacturer document. Q.HOME CORE and Q.HOME CORE G3 have different specifications.
| Product | Published specification | Warranty reference | Confirm in your proposal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Q.TRON BLK M-G2+ | Up to 440 W; up to 22.5% efficiency | 25-year product and performance warranty | Exact module variant, wattage, dimensions and warranty exclusions |
| Q.HOME CORE G3 | 13.1 kWh per unit; up to 26.2 kWh with the appropriate hub; 7.6 kW continuous output per unit | 15-year warranty; battery throughput and other limits apply | Battery count, hub, supported backup circuits and written warranty |
| Other Q.HOME CORE or Q.PEAK DUO models | Use the model-specific data sheet | Use the supplied product’s warranty | Do not substitute another product family’s ratings |
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
Qcells operates U.S. solar manufacturing in Georgia. Country-of-origin and domestic-content claims still need to match the product supplied to your home; a company’s manufacturing footprint does not prove the origin of every model or component. Ask for the model number and manufacturer documentation if U.S. assembly is part of your decision. Domestic-content incentives for eligible system owners do not automatically become a personal homeowner rebate.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
A useful price includes the modules, inverter, battery if selected, mounting, engineering, permit work and installation scope. Compare electrical upgrades, roof work, monitoring and removal/reinstallation responsibility separately when excluded. We have not published a verified local proposal price range. A current written quote is the way to establish the price for your home. Our cost guide includes a clearly labeled arithmetic example to show how dollars per watt work without presenting it as a sales offer.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
Compare the actual proposed model and installation scope. Brand-wide efficiency or warranty numbers can conceal differences in model, installer eligibility and product availability. These questions help you request comparable written offers.
| Brand / reference | Equipment and availability | Warranty and service questions |
|---|---|---|
| Qcells Q.TRON BLK M-G2+ | Up to 440 W and 22.5% efficiency for this family; verify the supplied model and manufacturing origin | 25-year product and performance warranty; check exclusions and installation labor separately |
| REC Alpha Pure-RX | Compare its exact module dimensions, roof fit and annual production estimate | Distinguish standard coverage from conditional ProTrust coverage and installer / registration requirements |
| Panasonic EverVolt | Panasonic has discontinued its solar and storage product lines; confirm any offered stock and model | Verify applicable support, registration, warranty eligibility and replacement handling |
| Canadian Solar | Compare the full model identifier; HiKu and other families use different documents | Match the warranty revision and geographic coverage to the supplied modules |

SCE, PG&E and SDG&E use their applicable Solar Billing Plan rules for eligible new systems. Municipal utilities have separate tariffs. Your bill may also contain a community-choice generation provider. Panels produce during daylight. Your financial comparison should account for daytime self-consumption, exported energy, evening imports, battery losses and fixed charges. A large annual production estimate alone does not guarantee a small bill.
CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT
All Star Solar provides the sales consultation and proposal coordination. The licensed installation contractor is named in your project documents. Verify that contractor and its license before signing, along with the equipment scope and warranties. Q CELLS and Hanwha Qcells are names you may encounter in manufacturer materials. They do not mean that an independent sales organization is itself the manufacturer. Keep each company’s role clear when reading reviews and service terms.
