The companies behind your system

Qcells is part of Hanwha Group, an international enterprise with approximately $200 billion in consolidated assets. All Star Solar is an independent authorized sales partner of Axia by Qcells. The licensed installer and contractual provider are identified in your final agreement.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

Who does what in an Axia by Qcells project

All Star Solar is an independent, authorized Axia by Qcells sales partner. Larry is your starting point for reviewing the electricity bill and comparing a preliminary solar-and-battery plan. All Star Solar does not manufacture the equipment, issue the financing agreement or perform the installation. Qcells is the equipment manufacturer. Axia coordinates the project pathway. EnFin offers qualifying payment programs. The installation contractor, scope of work, license information and responsibilities must appear in your final project documents. Corporate relationships do not make each company responsible for every obligation of another company.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

Start with the bill, not a standard equipment package

A useful first conversation identifies your electric utility, generation provider, annual consumption and when you use electricity. Two households with the same annual use can need different systems because one uses power during sunny hours and the other uses it after work. Bring the complete bill, including generation charges if a community-choice provider supplies your energy. An existing solar account needs a separate review of its tariff and interconnection history. Future EV charging, electric heating and a planned addition belong in the assumptions before system size is selected.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

Qcells panels and a battery with a defined job

Review the exact proposed panel and battery model, not just a brand logo. A module rating describes laboratory output; it does not state the annual production of your roof. Shade, orientation, roof area and equipment limits affect the estimate. A battery can store daytime solar for evening use. Outage operation additionally requires the appropriate backup equipment and a load plan. Ask which circuits stay on, which large loads must be managed and how reserve settings change bill savings.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

Axia by Qcells payment options

Compare the same system size, battery configuration and production assumptions. Zero down means no upfront equipment payment under a qualifying offer; it does not mean free electricity or that every roof and electrical upgrade is included. The complete proposal and signed agreement control.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

Understand an EnFin levelized PPA

EnFin describes a levelized PPA with a set monthly payment based on estimated annual production divided across twelve months. Seasonal energy output still changes. A set monthly payment within a year does not necessarily mean the payment is unchanged for the full term: the agreement may include an annual escalator. Ask to see the complete payment schedule, production estimate, reconciliation calculation and any guarantee in the actual offer. The previously described 90% production protection must be confirmed in the agreement offered to your property. Do not assume that every lease and every PPA has identical protections.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

Service, warranties and financial strength are separate questions

A manufacturer warranty concerns a specified product. An installation warranty addresses specified installation work. A provider service obligation comes from your lease or PPA. Request all three when applicable, with exclusions and the contact for a claim. A corporate parent or recognizable brand does not replace these documents or eliminate future business risk. Keep a copy of the system model numbers, monitoring instructions, proposal, agreement, warranties and utility permission to operate.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

From virtual review to permission to operate

First, Larry reviews your bill and goals. Next, you compare a preliminary Solar Blueprint and request an official proposal if the direction fits. Site assessment and engineering confirm roof and electrical conditions. The project team then handles the applicable permits, installation, inspection and utility process. Installation and utility activation are different milestones. Timing depends on design revisions, local review, equipment and utility work. Do not plan around a guaranteed activation date unless your written agreement supplies one.

CLARITY BEFORE COMMITMENT

Selling the home or reaching the end of the term

Read transfer, prepayment, purchase and end-of-term provisions before signing. These provisions can affect a future buyer and the escrow process. A prepayment is not necessarily a purchase of the equipment. EnFin publishes general homeowner guidance, but the signed agreement controls your actual options and deadlines. Request current written information directly from the provider when preparing a sale.

California coverage with local billing context

We review homes across California, including Irvine, Anaheim, Huntington Beach, Riverside, Temecula and San Diego. A city name does not establish eligibility. Municipal utilities, community-choice generation and the major investor-owned utilities have different rules. Use our city guides to prepare the questions, then confirm the property address and complete bill. The Orange County hub links to local permit and utility information. No city page represents a separate All Star Solar office.

RELATIONSHIP & PROJECT QUESTIONS

Axia by Qcells frequently asked questions.

Is All Star Solar part of Axia?

No. We're an independent, authorized Axia by Qcells sales partner. Your agreement is issued by Axia and/or EnFin, and Axia's project team handles installation.

Does Axia by Qcells install the panels?

Axia coordinates installation through licensed contractors assigned to your project and named in your agreement.

How much does Axia solar cost?

With an EnFin lease or PPA, qualified homeowners pay $0 upfront and a monthly payment set in the agreement. Cash prices depend on system size; we show both in your Blueprint.

What is the Axia 90% production guarantee?

Under the EnFin PPA, if the system produces less than 90% of its approved estimate, the agreement's reconciliation process compensates you annually after the first 24 months.

Can I add a battery with Axia?

Yes. Most California designs include a Qcells Q.HOME CORE battery for evening use and outage backup.

What happens if I sell my house?

The lease or PPA can usually transfer to the buyer, subject to EnFin's approval, or be bought out.

What happens at the end of the 25-year term?

Options typically include renewal, purchase or removal, as set out in your agreement.

Is Axia available outside SCE, PG&E and SDG&E?

Many municipal and other utility territories qualify. Send your bill and we'll confirm.

How long does an Axia installation take?

Most projects take several weeks from signing to activation, mostly permits and utility approval; installation is usually 1–2 days.

Do I need a new roof first?

Not always. We check roof age and condition in the Blueprint.
